Are you an undercover party planner? An arts and crafts guru? An aspiring host or hostess?

Put your skills to use by volunteering at BRAVO! @ The Brava, our May 12 student showcase!

Bravo at the Brava

We’re looking for:

6 Ushers (6-7pm)

  • attend orientation with House Manager
  • welcome guests into the theater
  • pass out programs
  • show preschool parents to reserved seats in front row

6 Decorators/party planners (4:45-5:30pm)

  • unload food, drinks, and supplies
  • set up tables and chairs
  • decorate lobby
  • set up food, drinks, and activities

4 Greeters (2 per shift: 5:30-6:30pm, 6:30-7:15pm)

  • stand outside theater
  • direct students and guests to the Brava
  • answer questions about parking

6 Party People (5:15-7:15pm)

  • lead art projects for families and other guests
  • serve drinks
  • restock food
  • clean up lobby when show starts

BAYVIEW STUDENT SHOWCASE ON MARCH 20, 2014
-Day-of-the-event support like set-up, registration, ushers, clean-up, etc.
-Planning support: Are you an event guru? Do you have community or business connections in the Bayview? Then we’d love to get your help in making this a  family-friendly must-see event for Bayview residents.

STUDENT SHOWCASE VOLUNTEERS IN MAY 2014
-Day-of-the-event support like set-up, registration, ushers, clean-up, etc.
-Planning support: Are you an event guru? Do you have community or business connections throughout San Francisco? Do you have a background in developing corporate partnerships or sponsorships? If you said ‘Yes!’ to any of these questions, we’d love to talk to you!

CLASSROOM PHOTOGRAPHERS
-Visit a class and take pictures of student learning! Your photos will be used on our website, social media networks, promotional and fundraising collateral, and presentations.

CLASSROOM VIDEOGRAPHERS
-Visit a class and capture the creative process! Your footage will be used for grant applications, our website, social media networks, promotional and fundraising collateral, and presentations.

SOCIAL MEDIA AND WEBSITE CONSULTING ADVICE
-Can you help us improve how we use social media to tell our story, or strengthen our social media presence? Do you know how we can make our website one of the most exciting places to visit on the web? Our digital team is ready to meet you!

50th ANNIVERSARY GALA (2015)
-Create media connections: Help us generate buzz and excitement leading up to the event
-Acquire corporate sponsorships
-Design 50th anniversary programs, logo, and/or other collateral
-Produce a short commercial
-Help us get reconnect with former students and teaching artists
-Consult on strategic communications leading

DONATE SUPPLIES:

• drums: floor toms, congas, small frame drums, mallets
• journals / notebooks
• unbreakable mirrors for dance classes
• iPod docks or speakers
• boomboxes
• painter’s tape (lots of rolls in different colors)
• database licenses (particularly Salesforce)
