Workshop Moments in History

According to the federal government, the Workshop was born in 1965. That makes us–gasp!–47 years old.

Below are two clippings from the Workshop’s beginnings as a “mom and pop” arts education shop.

What is most intriguing about these clippings is the historical context in which they’re written. You won’t see the same language and word choice in newspapers today. Despite this, the clippings prove the timeless relevance of creativity in learning.
