This poem is going to blow up in your hands
February 16, 2012
This poem is from The School is a Giant T-Rex, an anthology of colorful, curious, and bold poetry from 2nd and 3rd grade students attending San Francisco public schools.
Watch Out!
by Kenny, Age 9
Right now this poem is going to blow up
in your hands
Right now people are winning like crazy
against the computer.
Right now rocks are raining on unfortunate workers.
Right now millions of people
are flushing their toilets over and over again
while sewer inspectors are yelling, “Crud!”
Right now Santa Claus is finally starting to defrost
in the North Pole.
Right now robots are messed up
and hitting scientists hard and fast on their heads.
